11/07/2020 — 'Emergency First Aid at Work' course by Kentdale First Aid Trainingvery informative course delivered superbly by Angie and Andrew. With regards to Covid-19, their system and hygiene facilities in place were exemplary; I felt completely safe throughout the whole day. I would highly recommend them. Testimonial from Julie Cousins, Grange-over-Sands Golf Club “One thing that makes a quality first aid course is the depth of experience and knowledge of the instructor and their ability to explain and illustrate theory and practice with real life examples. Andrew demonstrated this throughout and with obvious expertise and enthusiasm. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone”. David Higgs "The course was fantastic, it was down to trainers who are highly experienced. They were brilliant. It was the best course I've ever been on. I would recommend this course to everybody" Mimi Myers, SLDC “Best first aid course I've attended! Andrew & Angie were excellent, professional & had loads of equipment which meant everyone got loads of hands on experience! Great course by great tutors, would recommend”. Beverley Fallows, Head instructor Kendal, Cumbria Taekwondo. “The course was brilliant. There was absolutely the right balance between seriousness and humour and I was sad that it was only a two day course as I would have happily come back for the rest of the week. I now feel confident that I and my colleagues could deal with anything that presented itself at school or in another environment in a calm and professional manner and that I would be able to help someone in need of first aid without causing more harm. I have learnt so much in two days and the balance of practical and theory means I will remember all the important bits. A fantastic course - I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone who works with children”. Michelle Woodcock. Crosthwaite Primary School. “Fantastic course and extremely well delivered. Plenty of hands on and the course covered everything in detail. Would certainly have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone”. Sarah Preston, Cumbria Farm Link Co-ordinator, CREA "I have to say I was aprehensive at first but the more I was shown and watched the information, also having hands-on made alot of difference it was a GREAT course. With members of my familly having heart conditions also freinds and familly and the general public, who knows when I will get to use my new knowlege, at least I won't have to stand back and look stupid I'll be able to help someone in future with an understanding of what's going on and happening as I hope someone will do the same for me should the matter arise". 13/07/2020 — 'Emergency First Aid at Work' Havng been on First Aid at work courses before, this was by far the most interesting, with anecdotes from the trainers. It was most informative. There was enough information given, without it being overwhelming for non-medical people. The delivery was very good, with the right amount of breaks and coffee! Testimonial from Gail Micklethwaite-McVey, Catering Manager, Grange over Sands Golf Club “I think this is the best 1st aid training course I have ever been on. Our trainer, Andrew was excellent at getting practical information across and I feel confidence that I have never really felt before. I know that the most important thing is to; 'keep them breathing and stop them bleeding”. Ann Newbold, Director, FarmSmart Events "I thoroughly enjoyed the course last Tuesday. I thought there was a good mix between classroom techniques, practical and stories to keep the course refreshing. I feel more confident about first aid than after other courses I've been on. The instructors were very approachable and reassuring". Hayley Gilpin, Dental Nurse, Hall & Smith "Excellent course! We were particularly pleased with specific emphasis on areas of relevance to our business and the type of work and hazards we encounter. We would hope we don't have to use the skills learned but now feel much more confident to deal with an emergency if one did occur". Antony Wood, Proprietor, Yew Tree and Gardens. Excellent course. The amount and high-quality of the equipment meant there was no waiting to have a turn. I was very impressed with the vest that allowed you to practice abdominal thrusts. The course tutors enthusiasm and hands-on knowledge made it an interesting and enjoyable 2 days". - Julia Adair TA Arnside National School. "This was a very well organised and informative course covering many if not all areas of first aid we may require working with children. The handbook which accompany's the course is very clear and informative. Both course leaders were very approachable and had excellent experience. I have already recommended them to friends who require first aid training". Tracy Gott. "Enjoyed the course. Pace was just right with good clear information given at the right level. Both trainers really know their stuff" Helena Weiss, James Cropper Plc. “Kentdale continue to exceed my expectations. The quality of their training is outstanding, approached in a very friendly yet professional manner. No question was left unanswered & they have an enviable way of making everyone feel at home. Thank you”. Christine Knipe. Chief Executive of Westmorland Agricultural Society. |
